Our Raleigh membership is still growing and that means more of you are interested in meeting other sewing friends and getting back to the hobby we all love! Be sure to talk about our group wherever you are around sewing people, especially those new to this creative outlet! Many of our new members tell us that if they had only known that ASG had a group like this (or that ASG was even around) they would have joined sooner. Many of them have been looking for “people like themselves” who love to sew. We currently have 250 members!

Membership in ASG is open to anyone interested in sewing. Membership is what you want it to be. You can join just for the discounts at local and national stores (and websites). You can join to attend neighborhood group meetings - relatively small groups that on a monthly basis, share individual projects, share knowledge and work on common goals or service projects. You can join to attend one or more scheduled sew-ins and / or workshops including some taught by prominent guest speakers. We also have two annual “stitch camp” long weekends in Myrtle Beach each year. Membership is at the national level, so once a member you can attend any chapter in the US.

Visa) Change of address notifications should be sent to our membership chair.
Or register online at the ASG National (secure) website (see Membership section on left side of page).
Membership year runs for one year from the signup date. Membership
includes admission to all regular meetings, subscription to our quarterly newsletter, and a chapter roster.
What’s required of
me? The only requirement is to pay your dues. First year is $50.00, subsequent year's renewal rate is $45.00. The rest is up to you.

beads and new items all the time, you get 10% off any and all purchases at JoAnn’s stores nationwide. There is a dynamic list on thewww.asg.org website of other discounts. Local stores also give discounts too.
